But did you know that Southeast Michigan is quickly gaining a reputation as a medical powerhouse — attracting attention not only from doctors and medical-related businesses, but also from out-of-state patients who are choosing the area for its medical expertise?
This reputation, as you’ll read about in our Focus on Tech feature articles, is built on educational institutions conducting cutting-edge research, state-of-the-art hospital systems, renowned doctors and a growing number of medical device companies in the area. On top of this, Oakland County’s Medical Main Street initiative is working to brand Southeast Michigan as a leading medical region with unparalleled resources.
