IPD Tradeshow is Packed with Energy and Hope for the Future

The Integrated Product Development (IPD) Tradeshow was held on the University of Michigan campus on Nov. 28. The tradeshow features IPD student projects created during the course, an experiential, cross-disciplinary course that puts teams of students from business, engineering and art/architecture in a competitive product development environment. This year's challenge was to come up with one-of-a kind retail products —finished prototypes made using limited resources, creative talent, a firm deadline and machining assets from Focus:HOPE. Teams competed with their products through a web-based “tradeshow” in which teams promote their products, which are voted on by people from around the world, followed by the campus tradeshow.
